1. Banh Mi Saigon

Banh Mi is a kind of bread made from flour, like the Baguette but smaller, and have fillings inside.

Typical fillings include steamed pork, sausage, grilled pork, canned sardines in tomato sauce, soft pork meatballs (Xiu Mai), and fried eggs. A loaf of bread can consist of one or more of these, with some vegetables or cucumber.

2. Hu Tieu

Banh Xeo (sizzling cake) which is made from rice flour the rice water, turmeric powder, stuffed with slivers of fatty pork, shrimp, diced green onion, and bean sprouts. This mixture is poured into the hot skillet and make a big loud "xeoooo"- this is an origin of the name.

5. Bun Mam

Bun Mam is a specific dish of the Southwest Vietnam and popular in Saigon. It consists of noodles, "mam", meat, seafood, and vegetables. 8. Com Tam

Com Tam (made from broken rice) is a popular dish in Sai Gon. Its main material is cooked rice (fractured rice grains) and other savory dishes.  A rice unit has grilled pork (either ribs or shredded), “bì” (pork skin are cooked and sliced) and Vietnamese sausages. It's served with vegetable, cucumber and tomato, attached to a small bowl of fish sauce and a small bowl of soup broth (canh).
